Thanks to UCLA, UC Berkeley (via Skype), Hiawatha Collegiate High School, Sacred Spaces at St. Thomas, Anoka Middle School, and Prof. Ananya Chatterjee’s class at the University of Minnesota for inviting me and letting me share my work and perspectives over the last couple of months. Special thank you to all the folks at each location that worked hard to make my appearance there possible. I’ll be reading as a part of the Friends of the Minnesota Public Library’s Pankake Poetry Series at the University of Minnesota on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, named in honor of librarian Marcia Pankake, whose love of poetry was demonstrated in the countless readings and poetry events she hosted at the University of Minnesota Libraries since retiring in 2007.
