Dam man, I was just reading Bao Phi's first journal entry about his transition from a person who bashed on his Asian community to one who is now uplifiting it.
The reason why I be bashin on Asians is cuz I have expectations of them as Asian people. I had friends who barely went to school, cuz they didn't care about gettin no edumacation. Instead they hung around Chinatown everyday with their girls and started shit with other Asian people. They even fucked up a black dude cuz he was a black person who was walking in a Chinese "territory." I'm not gonna be like them other people who think they hella hard and shit for doin what they do. Dam straight I'mma tell you what the fuck I think. I get pist off cuz here you are in an oppressed group spending your time oppressing other people that's in the same boat as you are.
Man, I unno even know where the hell I'm getting at. I'm just mad after reading the first entry man.

I was at the Baophi' s dialogue and poetry nite in Little Saigon last nite, Sept 30, 2005. I was truly amazed and captured by Bao Phi and all the guests' s talent. I wished I could have brought more friends to the event. I was accompanied by one of my friends, and just like me, he really like the performance. Nikky and David, Bao Phi of course, Duc Tri' Que Anh, John, and all the MCs are all gracefully amazing. I am glad that I received the invitation email to announce the event. I hope I will continue to receive email about events like that.

I'm lovin' the look and feel of your site and wanted to stop through and give you your props. You're on of the very best artists I've seen/heard......You inspire me EVERY TIME I see you perform which is not nearly enough. Can't wait to check out your new CD, I'm hearing great things about it.
